Brad Ashten is an American actor. Ashten's first film appearance was in the 2005 direct-to-video Scarred. Since then, Ashten has appeared on television in Veronica Mars as well as the films Are You Scared and Harvest Moon. Brad Ashten is currently starring in the movie Surfer Dudes with Matthew McConaughey. Brad Ashten can be seen on The EX-List coming out on CBS in October. After succumbing to a number of poor reviews in the Barstow 'Pennysaver,' Ashten took several low-paying jobs. Most recently, he was a goat herder on a small ranch in Fresno. But he was discarded by ranch management for questionable behavior involving his herd. Attempting to bounce-back, Ashten auditioned for the Pahrump Playhouse, but was fired on opening night for inappropriate behavior with the orphan chorus in "Annie." Since then, he has been seen living under bridges in northern California and gladly welcomes hand outs.
